Payment Security Shopping online with us is simple, safe and secure. We use the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions. All credit and debit card payments are securely encrypted before transmission over the internet, and go directly to WorldPay, which is part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. A page is confirmed as being secure when ‘http’ is replaced by ‘https’ at the front of the www.simplylivingjersey.com in your browser address window. We also accept credit and debit card payments over the telephone providing you have an email address, or you can pay by sending a cheque or postal order. Please contact us for details.
Basis of Sale
When you click on “Purchase” at the checkout, you offer to buy the Goods at the price indicated including any delivery charges that apply to your purchase. All orders will be subject to these terms and conditions. You must be over 18 years of age to place an order with us on-line. If your order is accepted, you will be notified by e-mail. As the confirmation is sent to you automatically, an error may have been made, electronically or otherwise, of which we are not aware. Because of this, we retain the right to cancel the order and make a full refund, as soon as we are aware of any error. You will be notified.

International delivery information
In the event of an item ordered being out of stock for any reason, we will dispatch the rest of your order immediately and send the remaining items as soon as possible. You will not be charged again for packing & postage.
Providing we have the items in stock, most orders are dispatched within 3 to 5 business days (Monday to Friday). You will receive an email automatically, confirming dispatch, as soon as your order is loaded onto our transport for delivery to the Post Office. However, if you receive dispatch confirmation on a Saturday, the parcel will not actually be delivered to the Post Office until the following Monday. Delivery within the UK should be expected 4 - 7 business days thereafter, depending on the size/weight, time of the year and your location, but please allow 28 days. Once you have been sent notification of dispatch the order cannot be cancelled. On receipt, should you wish to return the item to us, you will be responsible for doing so as explained below in Refunds & Returns. We will make every effort to deliver promptly, and you will be notified of any undue delays as soon as we are made aware. We will choose the best possible way for your goods to be delivered. Sometimes items may arrive at different times depending on their availability, but you will be kept informed.
You are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the goods. Should a second attempt to deliver the goods be necessary, you will be responsible for any additional delivery charges made. For delivery purposes you will be responsible for supplying a daytime contact telephone number.
Please note that a parcel will only be considered lost after a period of 28 days when a full refund will be issued. The reason for this is that we have only ever had one parcel lost. However, we do have numerous parcels returned to us by the Royal Mail after they have been held by the local post sorting office for a period of time for collection by the customer. This happens when the customer is not at the delivery address when attempts to deliver have been made.
Duplicate Purchases Our stock levels are automated, but should a stock level error occur for any reason, allowing duplicate purchases to be made before we have had chance to manually label the product as 'out of stock' , and should we not expect to receive additional stock within ten business days, we will notify you and inform you when we expect to receive the next consignment. We reserve the right to offer you, the customer, the choice of an immediate refund or to wait for the goods to arrive.
Refunds and Returns
We hope that our customers are pleased with both their purchases and the service we offer. If for any reason, however, your purchase is unsuitable, please ensure that you contact us within seven days of receipt. We will then send you a returns form which must be enclosed with the goods.
We will consider the overall condition of the item returned before making a refund. Providing the product is returned to us within 28 days of the date of receipt, in its original condition and packaging, along with a returns form duly completed, we will give you a full refund for the goods, the packing and postage/delivery charge is not refundable and we do not refund return postage on unsuitable items or cancelled orders. Refunds will only be processed once the items have been returned to us and you will be notified accordingly.
Likewise, if the goods are returned to us by the Royal Mail or any other courier because they have not been able to be delivered to the delivery address that you have given, a second attempt may be made or a card may be left advising you to collect it from your local sorting office/depot. If you do not collect it, after a period of time it will be returned to us. Therefore, please ensure that both the delivery address and contact telephone number that you have given is correct prior to submitting the order and that there will be someone available to sign for the goods at the delivery address. Goods may be returned to us for any of the following reasons:- addressee has gone away, no answer, address incomplete, address inaccessible, addressee unknown, no such address in ....... , refused or not called for. If an order is returned to us for any of the above mentioned reasons, we will immediately issue a refund for the value of the goods to your same card account and advise you accordingly. The packing and postage/carriage charge is not refundable. Please ensure that the delivery address and the contact telephone number is correct before submitting the order. In order to assist we give you the option of an alternitive delivery address.

Damaged Goods
Please check the packing and your purchases on receipt. In the event of your goods being damaged in transit, please notify us immediately. Please ensure that you endorse any delivery note accordingly. Also, please be aware that we do not refund or replace damaged goods unless we are notified within 24 hours of receipt of the goods. If in the very unlikely event that the goods are faulty, please contact us as soon as you are aware.
Descriptions Every care has been taken to ensure that all product descriptions, colours, measurements and prices are correct. Please note, however, that the colours on your screen may vary depending on your software & monitor settings. Also, some products are handmade and therefore slight variations in colour and measurements may occur. All sizes should be considered to be approximate. If more precise measurements are required or if you have any queries about colour or any other aspect, please contact us prior to placing the order.
Miscellaneous
Simply Living will not be liable for any errors and omissions published on this website and reserves the right to change prices, information and descriptions of the goods and services offered without notice. If a price or description published on this website is found to be incorrect for any reason, before or after an order has been placed and accepted by us, we reserve the right to inform you, the customer, of the correct description and price and confirm with you whether or not you still wish us to fulfil your order as amended. Likewise, if we are informed that an item is delayed for any reason, before or after an order has been placed by you and accepted by us, we reserve the right to inform you, the customer, of the situation and confirm whether you wish to wait for the item to come back into stock or to receive a complete refund. Also, if we are informed that an item is no longer available for any reason, before or after an order has been placed and accepted by us, we reserve the right to inform you, the customer, and issue an immediate refund.
If your credit or debit card has previously been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled in whole or in part, Simply Living shall issue a refund to your same credit or debit card account, either in full or in part as you so decide. Every effort will be made, but if we are unable to contact you, we reserve the right to treat the order as cancelled, and to issue a full refund. All goods will remain the property of Simply Living until full payment has been received.
Simply Living may change/amend any of the above mentioned terms and conditions without notice. The customer should therefore, review our terms and conditions every time an order is placed.
Force Majeure
Simply Living and its agents shall have the right to refuse to supply any item, cancel or delay any delivery if it is prevented from or hindered in delivery of the goods through circumstances beyond its control, including industrial action, war, fire, flood, prohibition or enactment of any kind, trade disputes or lock-out without incurring any liability for any loss or damage whatsoever resulting thence from.
